Lore & Background
Unlike the other Espada she pitied feral Hollows, respected her opponents as warriors and killed only for good reason. Nnoitra attacked her from behind with help from Szayelaporro's device, cracking her mask and throwing her out of Las Noches; losing spiritual energy shrank her into a child. The amnesia that followed freed her from her sorrows, and she lived carefree with two Fracción who protected her and kept her from remembering. As a child she often says the opposite of what she means.
Nel and her companions guide Ichigo's group through Hueco Mundo, and she grows attached to Ichigo. When Nnoitra starts torturing him she regains her true form and memories, still with a child's voice and a habit of hugging Ichigo too hard. On the verge of beating Nnoitra she reverts to a child. Seventeen months after Aizen's defeat she warns Ichigo that the Wandenreich have taken Hueco Mundo. With an armband from Kisuke Urahara that lets her take her adult form at will, she joins Grimmjow in helping Ichigo against Yhwach, and she and Grimmjow later rescue Tier Harribel.
Powers
As a child her "saliva" heals; in both forms she can swallow a Cero and fire it back, and as an adult she adds her own Cero to double it. Released, she becomes an ibex-like centaur with a double-ended white lance, which she can hurl so it spins and drills through anything.
