Intoxication shows in his worship of Sousuke Aizen. His mask remnant is a necklace of teeth with a ridge of spikes down his forehead, and his Hollow hole is in his right breast.

He waits until Rukia beats Aaroniero Arruruerie, then moves to kill her while she lies unconscious, but Byakuya Kuchiki stops him. Zommari tries to take over Byakuya's body, and Byakuya cripples his own limbs so they cannot be used against him. Zommari cannot control the hundreds of pieces of Byakuya's bankai, and Byakuya notices his technique works like kidō and blocks it with a barrier. Zommari dies shouting praise to Aizen.

Powers

He has the fastest sonido among the Espada; its top form is so fast it leaves clones, up to five bodies at once. Released, his legs become a hard lotus he can hide inside and his body is covered in eyes, each able to take control of an object or body part with a technique Byakuya likens to kidō.
