RiverClan
Where the current runs, the RiverClan's heart beats strongest.
RiverClan is one of the five warrior Clans in Warriors, alongside ThunderClan, WindClan, ShadowClan and SkyClan. In the first arc a river separates its territory from ThunderClan's, and when the Clans move to the lake it takes the stretch of shore that suits its fishing way of life. The Clan is the home of Silverstream, Graystripe's forbidden love, of Bluestar's kits Mistyfoot and Stonefur, and of one of the protagonists of A Starless Clan.

Lore & Background
Crookedstar leads RiverClan when the series opens; his daughter Silverstream saves the ThunderClan warrior Graystripe from drowning, falls in love with him and dies giving birth to their kits, and Graystripe joins RiverClan for a time to raise them. Leopardstar, who follows Crookedstar, agrees to Tigerstar's plan to unite the Clans as TigerClan; under that alliance the half-Clan cats Mistyfoot, Stonefur, Stormpaw and Featherpaw are held prisoner, and Stonefur is killed protecting the two apprentices. Mistyfoot later leads the Clan as Mistystar. In A Starless Clan the leader and deputy both die and StarClan gives no sign of a successor; Splashtail makes himself false leader through plots, with Berryheart as his deputy, until the medicine cat Frostdawn chooses a leader and peace returns; Icestar now leads the Clan.
