Kittypets
Kittypets are the house cats of the Warrior Cats world: cats who live with Twolegs (humans) rather than in the wild territories of the Clans. They are fed, sheltered, and cared for by their Twoleg companions, and they do not observe the warrior code, the clan hierarchy, or the rituals of StarClan.
Lore & Background
Rusty, the house cat who becomes Firestar and leads ThunderClan, and his nephew Cloudkit, born to the kittypet Princess and raised in ThunderClan, show that the boundary between wild and domestic is not as absolute as the Clans insist. In SkyClan's Destiny, kittypets called daylight warriors help SkyClan by day and return to their humans at night, and in The Fourth Apprentice a few housecats help a Clan patrol destroy the beaver dam.
