WindClan's moorland
Open moor, rabbits to chase, and tunnels underneath.
WindClan's moorland is the territory of WindClan in Warriors. WindClan cats live mainly on open moors, in the old forest and again at the lake: when the Clans' scouts explore the lake shore in Starlight, Crowfeather picks out a stretch of moorland as right for WindClan's way of life, which is chasing rabbits. Beneath the moor at the lake runs a network of tunnels that few Clan cats know about.

Lore & Background
In Into the Wild, Brokenstar announces that ShadowClan has driven the whole of WindClan from its home. In Fire and Ice, Fireheart and Graystripe search the empty WindClan camp, follow a scent trail to a makeshift camp under a tangle of Thunderpaths, and bring the Clan back; RiverClan and ShadowClan later try to drive it out again, and WindClan allies with ThunderClan. Highstones lies at the edge of WindClan's forest territory, and cats travelling to the Moonstone cross WindClan land.
At the lake, a stream marks the border with ThunderClan, and the Moonpool lies up near that border. The tunnels under the moor are where the ancient cat Fallen Leaves drowned, where Lionpaw and the WindClan apprentice Heatherpaw meet in secret, and where missing WindClan kits are found in Dark River. Hollyleaf vanishes into them when they collapse at the end of Sunrise, and in The Forgotten Warrior, WindClan attacks ThunderClan through them.
