Arena

The arena is the enclosed area where the tributes fight. The Games open at the Cornucopia in its centre, where nearly half the tributes die fighting over weapons and supplies. In the 74th Games the Gamemakers release mutant wolves for the finale. The Quarter Quell arena is a jungle with a force field, poisonous fog and dangers that strike at fixed hours, arranged like a clock.
