Justice Building

The Justice Building is the government building found in every district of Panem, where official business is handled. The reaping takes place in front of it each year, and the newly chosen tributes are taken inside to say goodbye to their families before leaving for the Capitol; victors return to give speeches there on the Victory Tour. District children also go to the Justice Building to sign up for tesserae, and in District 12 Katniss Everdeen and Gale Hawthorne received medals there after their fathers were killed in a mine explosion.
