Background
Bee is carried by her captors to Clerres Castle, where she hides her abilities, kills Symphe, one of the Four who rule there, and finds her Skill strengthened by sea serpent essence. Fitz, the Fool, Per, Spark and Lant reach Clerres aboard the liveship Paragon and enter the castle through its sewage tunnel to free the Fool. Bee sets fire to the great library and, in the smoke, runs into Fitz's party as the castle begins to fall around them.
