Kano's cybernetic enhancements are the defining feature of the Black Dragon leader, introduced in the first Mortal Kombat (1992). He is known for his cybernetic eye, which fires a laser, and fights with knives.

Lore & Background

His first design had a helmet with red eyes; it was changed to a metal plate over his right eye, modelled on Arnold Schwarzenegger's Terminator. In Mortal Kombat X (2015) his upgrades went beyond the eye to include a cybernetic heart.
