Liu Kang's Fire Powers
Liu Kang's dragon-shaped fireball and the Fire God he becomes.
Liu Kang's fire powers centre on his projectile, a fireball shaped like a Chinese dragon that shoots from his hands toward the opponent. Liu Kang is the main hero of Mortal Kombat, a Shaolin monk whose special moves were designed to be the easiest to perform. In Mortal Kombat 11 (2019) he becomes the god of fire.
Lore & Background
Mortal Kombat II added his other signature move, the Bicycle Kick, and his recurring Chinese dragon Fatality, designed to kill the opponent instantly; it was meant to show his revenge on Shang Tsung, who killed his fellow Shaolin monks in that game's story. As Fire God, Liu Kang storms Kronika's keep and kills her, and in Mortal Kombat 1 he uses her Hourglass to remake the universe.
