Shiva
The series' ice summon, Eikon of ice in Final Fantasy XVI.
Shiva is one of the staple summons of the Final Fantasy series, named with Ifrit, Bahamut and Odin in Final Fantasy VI and with Odin, Alexander and Bahamut in Final Fantasy XIII. In Final Fantasy XVI she is the Eikon of ice; her Dominant is Jill Warrick, Clive's childhood friend, who spends much of her life as a political hostage.
Lore & Background
In Final Fantasy XIV Iceheart summons Shiva into her own body and challenges the Warrior of Light. Although she is defeated, Iceheart hints at a connection with Hydaelyn and tells the adventurer to consult Midgardsormr. Moenbryda later draws on the encounters with Lahabrea and Shiva to propose that a blade of pure aether can destroy an Ascian trapped in white auracite. Shiva is also a regular summon in Final Fantasy XV.
In Final Fantasy XVI, after Jill gives Clive the power of Shiva, he kills Barnabas and destroys Waloed's Mothercrystal.
