Ramuh
The lightning summon, usually depicted as an old wizard.
Ramuh is the traditional lightning-elemental summon of the Final Fantasy series, depicted as an old wizard. In Final Fantasy XVI he is the Eikon of thunder, and his Dominant, Cidolfus Telamon, shelters Bearers and Dominants and is an incarnation of a recurring series character.
Lore & Background
In Final Fantasy VIII Ramuh was replaced by the mythical bird Quetzalcoatl. In Final Fantasy VI an Esper named Ramuh confronts the party when they find Terra and tells them another Esper imprisoned in the imperial capital Vector may be able to help her; he also taught the moogle Mog to speak human language in his dreams. Ramuh is among the regular summons of Final Fantasy XV, where the party meets the Astral with Gentiana's help.
In Final Fantasy XIV a radical faction of the Sylphs in the Black Shroud summons Ramuh against the Garleans. Upon his defeat he judges the Warrior of Light a worthy saviour and departs amicably.
