A series-staple summon that appears from Final Fantasy IX to XIV.

Alexander is one of the recurring summoned creatures of the Final Fantasy series. Final Fantasy XIII lists it among the series staples alongside Odin, Shiva and Bahamut, next to newcomers Hecatoncheir and Brynhildr.

Lore & Background

In Final Fantasy IX, Kuja tries to obtain the eidolon Alexander in order to kill Garland; Garland prevents it, which drives Kuja to kidnap the summoner Eiko Carol and extract her eidolons. In Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers, powers drawn from Alexander and Omega are used to send G'raha Tia and the Crystal Tower across time and worlds.
