The Gathering
Every full moon the Clans meet under a truce to share their news.
The Gathering is the regular meeting of all the Clans in Warriors, held in peace on the night of every full moon so that the Clans can share news. In the old forest the Gathering place is Fourtrees. After the move to the lake, the Clans look for a new site for their monthly meetings under a truce and find it on an island, reached across a tree brought down by lightning.

Lore & Background
Much of the series' news breaks at Gatherings. In Into the Wild the apprentices Firepaw and Graypaw attend their first one and hear Brokenstar announce that ShadowClan has driven out the whole of WindClan. At the Gathering that closes Rising Storm the Clans learn that Tigerstar now leads ShadowClan, and at a later one he proposes to unite all the Clans as one. In The Sight a quarrel at a Gathering leads Squirrelflight to suggest a one-time contest between the Clans' apprentices. In Eclipse, Blackstar arrives with Sol and declares that ShadowClan will stop attending. Hollyleaf chooses a Gathering to reveal the truth about her parents in Sunrise, and in Chasing Shadows the apprentice Starlingpaw reveals a hidden prophecy to all the Clans at one, raising tensions. Lovers from different Clans use them as well: Graystripe agrees to see Silverstream only at the full-moon Gathering.
