Spottedleaf
The medicine cat who saw fire coming, and went on guiding ThunderClan after her death.
Spottedleaf is the medicine cat of ThunderClan when Firestar first joins the Clan in Warriors. She receives the prophecy from StarClan that 'fire alone can save our Clan', which leads Bluestar to take in the house cat Rusty. She is murdered in the first book, Into the Wild, when ShadowClan cats steal into the camp to carry off kits, and Yellowfang replaces her. From StarClan she goes on guiding Firestar and, later, his daughter Leafpool.

Lore & Background
Spottedleaf's prophecy opens the series, and Bluestar recognizes Rusty as the cat it means when she sees him on patrol. In A Dangerous Path the dying Bluestar tells Fireheart that he is the fire that saved her Clan. As a spirit, Spottedleaf helps SkyClan when Firestar rebuilds it and later sends its leader Leafstar a warning dream. In Starlight she leads the apprentice Leafpaw to the starlit pool that becomes the Moonpool, in Twilight she tells Leafpool to follow her heart, and in Sunset she shows her that Cinderpelt has been reborn as the kit of Sorreltail. Her spirit is killed in the Great Battle of The Last Hope.
