Background

They let the player sprint, leaving a trail of snow clouds, and fly briefly in midair, trailing green sparks; worn with wings, that flight is given up to add 0.7 seconds of wing flight time instead. They improve control on ice, stop Thin Ice from breaking on landing, let the player walk across the surface of any liquid and prevent fall damage when landing on one. They also grant immunity to the Burning debuff and 7 seconds of lava immunity, after which lava damage drops from 80 to 35. The boots can be crafted before any boss is defeated, with most of the ingredients obtainable from crates, and they suit exploration better than boss fights.
