Excalibur
When swung, it produces a large yellow aura that reaches about twice the sword's length and can hit up to three enemies.[1] A broadsword available after one mechanical boss is defeated in Hardmode is the Excalibur.[1] Legendary is the optimal modifier for this weapon.[1] The Excalibur deals 72 melee damage, has 4.5 average knockback, 4% critical chance, and a very fast use time of 20.[5]
It sells for 4 Gold 60 Silver and requires 1 for research.[5]

Recipes
The weapon is crafted from 12 Hallowed Bars at a Mythril Anvil or Orichalcum Anvil.[2]
Used in
It is used solely to craft the True Excalibur, which requires one Excalibur and 24 Chlorophyte Bars at the same anvils.[3]
Tips
Retreating while swinging the Excalibur allows the player to push enemies away.[4]
