Nurse
The Nurse is an NPC in Terraria who moves into a vacant house when the player has over 100 maximum health and the Merchant is present.[1] She fully restores the player's health and cures all active debuffs in exchange for coins.[1] Healing costs 1 Copper per health restored plus 1 Silver per debuff, multiplied by the Nurse's Happiness price adjustment and doubled in Expert Mode.[1] The Nurse defends herself by throwing green syringes that damage and poison enemies, and red syringes that heal herself and other NPCs for 20 health.[1]
Her base damage is 8 / 12 / 14 at the start of the game and increases as the player progresses.[1]

Price increases
The fee for healing also rises depending on which bosses have been overcome in the current world.[2]
Living preferences
The Nurse enjoys living close to the Arms Dealer and favors the Hallow biome, while she dislikes the Snow biome and having the Party Girl and Dryad as neighbors.[3]
Shimmered form
Submerging the Nurse in Shimmer or using the Shimmer Gun on her changes her appearance to a Shimmered form, which is purely visual.[4]
Tips
The Nurse can be used as a healing station during boss fights by teleporting to the spawn point where she is located.[5]
