Guide Voodoo Doll

The Guide must be alive for this summoning to occur.^[1] If the doll is destroyed by lava outside the Underworld, the Guide dies but the boss is not summoned.^[1] On Desktop, Console, and Mobile versions, if more than one doll is in a stack destroyed by lava, other NPCs are killed alongside the Guide, but the Wall of Flesh is summoned only once.^[1] The Guide Voodoo Doll serves as a boss-summoning item that calls forth the Wall of Flesh.^[1]

When the doll is released into lava within the Underworld, the Guide perishes immediately and the Wall of Flesh appears.^[1] If the doll meets lava while the Guide is absent, the item is consumed with no boss summoned.^[1] Equipping the doll as an accessory lets the player and other NPCs slay the Guide using direct weapon strikes.^[1] The Guide Voodoo Doll cannot undergo reforging, so it never gains modifiers.^[1]

It is classified as both a boss-summoning item and an accessory, sells for 2 Silver, and requires 1 for research.^[2]
