Background
Lenegis is less a city than a mechanical fortress: a massive relay device for transmitting Dahna's astral energy to Rena. Its information terminal describes a large-scale astral energy converter that converts the elemental composition of Dahna's energy and transmits it to Rena, activated by placing the Sovereign, the Maiden and the Renas Alma within its central core. Residence zones for essential personnel surround a large conduit, with a defensive outer layer that deploys on activation; that deployment is expected to damage the residential zones, but since it happens only in the final stage of the Spirit Channeling Ceremony no contingency plan was made. Until that phase Lenegis serves as the base of operations for managing the Crown Contest on Dahna. After it ripped apart its own inhabitants' living quarters, all the Renans were moved out of Lenegis to Ganath Haros.
