Moon
The rock that holds the Ten-Tails' body, and the mirror for the Infinite Tsukuyomi.
In Naruto the Moon is the enormous mass of rock in which the Sage of Six Paths sealed the soulless body of the Ten-Tails, using the Chibaku Tensei.
Lore & Background
The Eye of the Moon Plan depends on it: the host of the revived Ten-Tails is to project the Infinite Tsukuyomi on the moon's surface and draw all life into the illusion. When Kaguya is sealed again at the end of the war, Naruto throws Black Zetsu into the newly forming moon so that he can never free her.
Reader's Guide
In The Last: Naruto the Movie Toneri Otsutsuki, a descendant of Hamura, sends it falling toward the Earth; Naruto fights him on its surface, where Toneri splits the moon in half, and once it has returned to its orbit Toneri stays there to atone.
