Five Kage Alliance
The five village leaders who joined their armies against the Akatsuki.
The five Kage are the leaders of the great ninja villages. After Taka's attack on his brother Killer Bee, the Raikage Ay convenes the five Kage to decide how to deal with the organization, and the summit's mediator Mifune proposes that they form the world's first Shinobi Alliance.
Lore & Background
The alliance joins the armies of the Five Great Countries, about 80,000 shinobi in all, for the Fourth Shinobi World War. The Kage first try to keep news of the war from Naruto by hiding him on an island turtle near Kumogakure.
Reader's Guide
On the battlefield the five Kage fight Madara Uchiha together and lose; after defeating them Madara goes to Obito's aid. When the war is over the Five Kage decide the fate of the imprisoned Sasuke Uchiha, and years later Naruto attends a Five Kage Summit in Konoha as the Seventh Hokage.
