Sound Four
Orochimaru's elite bodyguards, sent to escort Sasuke Uchiha to him.
The Sound Four are Orochimaru's elite bodyguards. They were first called the Sound Five, and went back to the old name after their leader Kimimaro became bedridden with an illness. The group becomes prominent in the story when Orochimaru sends it to escort Sasuke Uchiha to him.
Lore & Background
As a group they specialize in barriers, defensive walls and sealing techniques, and each has individual techniques and a Curse Mark that raises his or her strength. Kimimaro, the last of the Kaguya Clan, who can manipulate his own bone structure, became leader after defeating all four in battle.
Reader's Guide
Jirobo is a large, quick-tempered fighter who absorbs chakra and fights at close quarters. Kidomaru is a six-armed ninja who produces spider-webs and fights at range. The twin brothers Sakon and Ukon, the strongest of the four, count as one member and can merge their bodies with others. Tayuya is a flautist who uses her flute for genjutsu and to control summoned demons. All of them, and Kimimaro, die during Sasuke's escort: Jirobo against Choji Akimichi, Kidomaru against Neji Hyuga, Sakon and Ukon at Kankuro's hands.
