Background

Unlike her more combat-loving brothers, Temari values peace and questions Sunagakure's reasons for going to war with Konohagakure. In Part II she acts as liaison between the two villages to help them work together, and during her time in Konohagakure she is often seen walking with Shikamaru Nara, which leads others to assume they are dating, though both deny it.

Her giant iron fan creates gusts strong enough to level the surrounding landscape. Quick to read an opponent's tactics and weaknesses early in a fight, she typically uses her winds to strip away parts of the battlefield the enemy might exploit. In Part I she can also use the Summoning Jutsu to call a scythe-wielding weasel named Kamatari.

The epilogue reveals that she has moved to the Hidden Leaf and married Shikamaru, with whom she has a son, Shikadai. Romi Park voices her in Japanese and Tara Platt in English.
