Jeff Goldblum
The actor behind chaos theorist Ian Malcolm.
Jeff Goldblum (born October 22, 1952) is an American actor and musician. In the Jurassic Park franchise he plays the mathematician Dr Ian Malcolm, first in Jurassic Park (1993) and then in The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997), Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018) and Jurassic World Dominion (2022); those films tie him with BD Wong for the most appearances by any cast member in the series.
Outside the franchise he is known for The Fly, Independence Day, the Grandmaster in Thor: Ragnarok, several Wes Anderson films and the Wizard in Wicked. In July 2018 a 25 ft statue of him was put up beside London's Tower Bridge for a short time to mark 25 years since Jurassic Park came out.
