Background
Katie's interview in the pilot episode "That's Entertainment" is the moment the hotel is announced to Hell: Charlie pitches her "Happy Hotel", the segment collapses into a brawl, and Alastor, having watched it, turns up at the hotel to offer his help. Her assistant anchor Tom Trench, who has a gas-mask face, is frequently abused by her.
Katie is a recurring character rather than a lead, appearing as the face of 666 News alongside Tom Trench (voiced by Joshua Tomar in the pilot and Amir Talai in the series).
