Imps
Hell's working class: the small Hellborn demons at the bottom of the ladder.
Imps are a Hellborn species of demon in the Hazbin Hotel universe and the stars of its spin-off Helluva Boss. Native to Hell rather than the souls of dead humans, they rank at the very bottom of Hell's hierarchy alongside hellhounds and are treated as servants and labourers by higher demons. According to the series, Satan, the King of Wrath, created the imps to be subservient workers in Hell.

Background
Helluva Boss follows an imp-run business, I.M.P. (Immediate Murder Professionals), founded by Blitzo and staffed by the married imps Moxxie and Millie, which uses a grimoire from the Goetic prince Stolas to reach the living world and carry out hits ordered by souls in Hell. Other imps include Blitzo's twin sister Barbie Wire, his father Cash Buckzo, the assassin Striker and the inventor Wally Wackford. Goetic nobles such as Stella and Paimon openly despise imps, calling them peasants and plebeians.
Unlike sinners, who are confined to the Pride Ring, imps and other Hellborn can travel freely between the seven rings. The fan wiki notes an imp district of Pentagram City called Imp City, described as shabby even by Hell's standards, and that new sinners commonly - and wrongly - assume imps exist to torture them.
