Background

Loona generally has no interest in what goes on around her and is rude to her co-workers Moxxie and Millie, but she struggles with making friends, and the show gradually reveals her attachment to Blitzo. Vortex, the object of her crush, is the bodyguard of the succubus pop star Verosika Mayday and the boyfriend of Beelzebub, the Queen of Gluttony. Vikki, a poodle-like hellhound, is her antagonist; Gigi and Russ are hellhound friends of hers. In the Helluva Boss pilot she is shown watching Charlie Morningstar's broadcast pitch for the hotel on her computer.

Lindbeck also performs the song "A Spooky Kind of Love" for the series. Blitzo takes Loona to a clinic for a vaccination in one episode, where the goat receptionist Muffy is voiced by Vivienne Medrano.
