Xingese Empire
An Eastern empire of fifty clans with its own form of alchemy.
The Xingese Empire is a nation far away from Amestris, distinguished by its own system of alchemy, called alkahestry. Its people are split into fifty clans under the rule of a single emperor.
Lore & Background
The emperor is in failing health, and his children seek to earn his recognition in his final days. This led Prince Lin Yao and Princess May Chang to go to Amestris in separate attempts to find the Philosopher's Stone.
Reader's Guide
The Xingese Empire is ruled by a single emperor, who fathered a child in each of its fifty clans. Their impact on the story is profound, as their arrival in Amestris provides crucial allies against the homunculi.
