King Vegeta

A proud king who fell defending his people against a galactic tyrant.

King Vegeta is the father of Vegeta, fully referred to as Prince Vegeta IV. He was the monarch of the Saiyan race, an elite extraterrestrial warrior race. His reign ended when Frieza, paranoid about a prophecy stating a Super Saiyan would arise to overthrow him, decided the entire race was too dangerous to exist. King Vegeta was eventually killed by Frieza, who later destroyed Planet Vegeta and committed genocide against the Saiyan race.
