Cloudtail
The kittypet-born warrior who never believed in StarClan.
Cloudtail is a white ThunderClan tom in Warriors and the nephew of Firestar. He is born a kittypet: his mother Princess, Firestar's sister, gives her eldest kit Cloudkit to her brother to raise in the Clan. As an apprentice he is unruly and disrespectful, and as a warrior he stands out as a cat who does not believe in StarClan.

Lore & Background
In Fire and Ice, Fireheart meets his sister Princess again and accepts her kit, but apart from Frostfur and Graystripe his Clanmates are reluctant to take in a cat of kittypet blood. In Rising Storm, Cloudpaw is Fireheart's apprentice and disobeys the order to stay away from Twolegs; he goes to them for food and is carried off, and Fireheart and Sandstorm find him near the barn where Ravenpaw and Barley live. Fireheart keeps the reason quiet so that the Clan will take him back. In A Dangerous Path, Bluestar names Cloudpaw a warrior, choosing him because he does not believe in StarClan. In Sunrise, Jayfeather realizes that the third cat of the prophecy will be a kit of Whitewing, a granddaughter of Cloudtail and so kin of Firestar.
