Necrophage

Necrophage is the general name for monsters that feed on dead bodies, so they gather in cemeteries and on battlefields. Some do not wait for corpses and kill to make their own. Ghouls, drowners and rotfiends are among the creatures counted as necrophages, while alps and bruxae, often mistaken for them, are actually vampires.
