Cirilla Fiona Elen Riannon, known universally as Ciri or the Lion Cub of Cintra, is a central figure in The Witcher saga and the biological daughter of Pavetta and Duny. At Kaer Morhen, Ciri was trained under the watchful eyes of Geralt, Coën, Vesemir, Lambert, Eskel and Triss, becoming skilled with a sword; later she trained as a sorceress while living with Yennefer at Ellander. After the Thanedd coup, Ciri became separated from Geralt, created an unstable portal and found herself in the Korath desert; she then joined a gang called the Rats and was captured by the bounty hunter Leo Bonhart, who forced her to fight in an arena. She later fled to the world of the Aen Elle, escaped from that world too and, after traveling through time, was reunited with Geralt and Yennefer.
