Griffin

A griffin (also spelled griffon or gryphon) is a monster with a lion's body, legs and tail and an eagle's head, wings and talons. Griffins nest mostly in mountain caves across the Continent and lay eggs. In The Witcher 3, a griffin is the first big monster Geralt hunts, in White Orchard.
