Trial of the Grasses
The trial of mutations that turns a trainee into a witcher.

Lore & Background
Geralt had an unusual tolerance for the trials and was subjected to experimental mutagens as a result. This caused the loss of all body pigmentation, leaving him with pale skin and white hair. In Blood of Elves a witcher is described as a human who has been transformed into a supernatural monster-slayer by the ingestion of various mutagens. Ciri trained with Geralt under the School of the Wolf at Kaer Morhen in her youth, but she did not undertake the Trial of the Grasses.
