Characters
The roster includes a drunkard and atomic engineer who caused a nuclear disaster and survived to become an atomic ninja, seeking a rehabilitation center. The Last Samurai inherits his position from father to son but has no successors. One ninja hides his face due to ugliness and killed his tutor after being questioned about his motives. Another character never became a master despite combat skill and invisibility, failing the tea ceremony and killing every ninja master he meets. An old, wise, compassionate ninja has prostate problems and ungrateful grandchildren. The end of the world made one character tougher and stronger but also a blood-lusting, deranged maniac. One ninja became an ugly monster with rotting skin and jelly muscles, interested only in brains.
Reception
The game received mixed or average reviews from critics. PlayStation Universe gave the most positive review at 75%, praising portable gaming, characters, and super abilities while criticizing limited single-player, arena design, and low number of attacks. PlayStation LifeStyle gave the most negative review at 30%, criticizing lack of content, repetitive gameplay, visuals, and bot system while praising character design.
