Bentley's Hackpack

Three arcade machines, 300 challenges, and a secret concert.

Bentley's Hackpack is a 2013 minigame compilation developed by Sanzaru Games and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita. It was created to promote the North American release of Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time, launching on the same date. The game is part of Sony's cross-buy initiative, and in 2014 it became the first existing Sony game ported to iOS and Android.

Gameplay

Bentley's Hackpack offers three arcade machines: System Cracker, Alter Ego, and Spark Runner. Each machine has 20 stages, and each stage contains five challenges, making 300 challenges total. Every challenge gives one token, with bonus tokens available for unlocking specific levels; each machine can grant up to 111 tokens. These tokens unlock 65 prizes at Dimitri's Prize Gallery, a setup similar to the Treasure Wall in Thieves in Time. Tokens are not spent, but each prize requires more tokens than the last. Unlocking the final prize reveals a secret machine that is actually an entrance to the arcade's basement, where the Cooper Gang performs a metal version of the Thieves in Time theme song during the credits.
