Messenger god whose cabin takes in every unclaimed demigod.
Hermes, Mercury in Roman form, is the messenger of the gods and the god of travelers and thieves in Rick Riordan's books, the son of Zeus and Maia. In Percy Jackson & the Olympians he helps Percy in the hope that Percy can redeem Luke. Cabin 11 at Camp Half-Blood is his, and every unclaimed demigod was placed there because Hermes welcomed all travelers until each god had a cabin. Dylan Neal and Nathan Fillion play him in the films and Lin-Manuel Miranda in the TV series, where Percy and Annabeth find him at the Lotus Hotel and Casino and, after Annabeth picks his pocket, he leaves them a map and directions; in season two Poseidon sends him with items for Percy's quest to the Sea of Monsters.
