The Twelfth Legion Fulminata is the Roman legion of Camp Jupiter, the Roman demigod camp in the San Francisco Bay Area. Its praetors have included Reyna, Jason Grace, Frank Zhang and Hazel Levesque.

Its cohorts are commanded by centurions; Frank, Hazel, Dakota and Lavinia Asimov have each led the Fifth Cohort. This schism was shattered only by a prophecy foretelling that seven demigods must unite to defeat the Earth Mother's giants. The arrival of Greek heroes at Camp Jupiter marked a violent turning point, forcing the Twelfth Legion to confront their biases and realize that survival required an uneasy but necessary unity between the two halves of the pantheon.
