Lore & Background
The conflict reached its zenith when legendary figures, including Hashirama Senju and Madara Uchiha, were summoned back via Edo Tensei, turning the battlefield into a clash of titans. Tactics evolved from desperate defense to miraculous offense as Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha reconciled their differences to receive Six Paths power directly from Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki. Their combined strength, bolstered by the reanimated Hokage and the entire shinobi world, became the only force capable of sealing the Ten-Tails and its host.
Reader's Guide
The endgame came when Black Zetsu betrayed Madara and turned his body into a vessel for Kaguya Ōtsutsuki. Naruto and Sasuke were forced to traverse shifting dimensions to corner the progenitor of chakra, finally sealing her away to end the cycle of hatred. After the war Kakashi became the Sixth Hokage and pardoned Sasuke, Orochimaru and Kabuto for their crimes.
