Fist-sized orbs of black chakra that can take almost any shape.
Truth-Seeking Balls are orbs of malleable black chakra that can change their form and properties. Each is only the size of a fist yet holds enough power to wipe out a forest. They belong to those who awaken Six Paths Senjutsu: Hagoromo and Hamura Ōtsutsuki seem to have had them naturally, others gain them by becoming the Ten-Tails' jinchūriki or from Hagoromo himself, and Tenseigan Chakra Mode grants them too.

Background
The number of orbs differs from user to user: Obito and Madara Uchiha each gained ten as the Ten-Tails' jinchūriki, while Naruto Uzumaki got nine from Hagoromo, and an orb that is lost cannot be replaced. The balls combine all five basic natures and can turn what they touch to dust; with Yin–Yang Release they cancel any ninjutsu they touch, even the healing of Impure World Reincarnation, but not senjutsu. Users can only steer them within about 70 metres, and the orbs crumble if their user is killed.
