Kumogakure Seven Ninja Swordsmen
Kirigakure's seven wielders of oversized swords.
The Seven Swordsmen of the Mist are a group of ninja from Kirigakure, the Hidden Mist Village, who fight with particularly large swords. Zabuza Momochi, who carried the Kubikiri Bōchō, and Kisame Hoshigaki, wielder of the living sword Samehada, are both former members.
Lore & Background
Kisame took his place among the Swordsmen by killing his superior. By the start of the series Chojuro, who carries the sword Hiramekarei and guards the Mizukage Mei Terumi, is the only member still affiliated with the village, and after the deaths of Zabuza and Kisame he is the only real Swordsman left.
Reader's Guide
Suigetsu Hozuki of Taka wants to claim all of the group's swords and reform it in memory of his late brother Mangetsu, who was a member. During the Fourth Great Ninja War Kabuto Yakushi reanimates former members, including Zabuza and Mangetsu, and Kakashi's division fights them.
