Reader's Guide
The Omega DLC was developed by BioWare Montreal and was Mass Effect 3's largest pack at release. Its writers treated the station "as a character", with Aria's bond to it described as "one of deep love". Reviews were mixed: the temporary squadmates and new enemies were praised, its linear combat and thin story criticised.
In Mass Effect 2, Shepard visits Omega to recruit Garrus Vakarian, who has been living there as the vigilante Archangel; Aria provides information on the station. In the comic Mass Effect: Invasion, Cerberus general Oleg Petrovsky seizes Omega using husk-like adjutants. In the Mass Effect 3 DLC Omega, Shepard helps Aria and the turian Nyreen Kandros, leader of the Talons, retake the station from Cerberus.
