Ardwick Association Football Club was a professional football club based in Manchester, England. The club joined the Football League in 1892. In 1894, the club was renamed Manchester City, adopting its sky blue home shirts that same season.

Ardwick's early history is tied to the founding of Manchester City. The club was formed in 1887 from St. Mark's (West Gorton), which had been founded in 1880. Ardwick joined the Football League in 1892. The club's home ground was Hyde Road, but the fire that destroyed the main stand in 1920 and the subsequent move to Maine Road in 1923 occurred under Manchester City, not Ardwick, as Ardwick was renamed in 1894.
