Toji Fushiguro Legacy
A man with no cursed energy who became the nightmare of every sorcerer.
Toji Fushiguro, the "Sorcerer Killer", is a former member of the Zen'in clan and the father of Megumi Fushiguro. Born with a Heavenly Restriction, he has no Cursed Energy at all and in exchange possesses immense physical prowess and senses sharp enough to deal with Cursed Spirits.
Lore & Background
Because he gives off no Cursed Energy he can close in on sorcerers unnoticed, and his Inverted Spear of Heaven cuts through any Cursed Technique. In 2006 the Time Vessel Association hires him to kill the Star Plasma Vessel, Riko Amanai. He attacks Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto, defeats them both and kills Riko, but Gojo recovers and kills him. Dying, he tells Gojo that his son is to be sold to the Zen'in clan.
Reader's Guide
His influence outlasts him. Gojo takes Megumi in and keeps him from the Zen'in clan, and an arrangement Toji made puts Megumi in line to head that clan when Naobito dies. In Shibuya a séance brings Toji back in another man's body: he exorcises Dagon, fights Megumi and, on learning that his son kept the name Fushiguro, kills himself. His cousin Maki Zen'in, born with the same kind of Heavenly Restriction, later reaches his level and wields a replica of his sword.
