Death of Hanami
Satoru Gojo exorcises the Special Grade spirit Hanami in Shibuya Station.
Hanami, a Special Grade Cursed Spirit born from humanity's mistreatment of the forests, is exorcised by Satoru Gojo during the Shibuya Incident.
Lore & Background
Hanami first clashes with the students during the exchange event between the Tokyo and Kyoto schools. Megumi Fushiguro, Toge Inumaki, Noritoshi Kamo and Maki Zen'in struggle against the spirit until Yuji Itadori and Aoi Todo take over the fight. Gojo breaks the barrier before Hanami can open a Domain and clears a whole stretch of forest, but Hanami escapes.
Reader's Guide
On Halloween in Shibuya, Hanami joins Jogo and Choso in ambushing Gojo on the tracks of Shibuya Station. Hanami and Jogo use Domain Amplification to neutralize Gojo's technique, yet Gojo crushes Hanami into a corner with Infinity and kills the spirit before he is sealed. Jogo later meets Hanami and Dagon again in a liminal afterlife.
