Carla Yeager is Grisha's second wife, Eren's mother and Mikasa's adoptive mother. She was a waitress in Shiganshina who fell for Grisha after he saved her and others from a plague.

Background

She opposed Eren's wish to join the Survey Corps and asked Mikasa to talk him out of it. When the town is attacked she is pinned beneath the family home by debris from Wall Maria, her legs already crushed, and she sends Eren and Mikasa away with Hannes. As they flee, Eren watches her being eaten by the Titan that had once been Dina Yeager.
