Background

The couple sent their seven-year-old son Zeke into Marley's Warrior programme, but Zeke turned them in to save his grandparents. Kruger kept her lineage secret from Marley while she was tortured and exiled, and she was turned into a Pure Titan with a menacing grin on the Paradis seawall. Thirteen years later that Titan ate Carla during the fall of Wall Maria and, five years after that, Hannes. When Eren struck her hand, the contact woke the Coordinate power in him and the other Titans tore her apart.
