Background

His loyalties shift after a bold ploy by the Survey Corps shows that the ruling nobles would abandon the people of Wall Rose if Titans broke through it. Zackly then pledges his support to Erwin's plan to overthrow the monarchy and the Reiss family, the real rulers behind it. His men restrain the First Interior Squad inside the castle and detain the nobles who sided with Rod Reiss. Hideaki Tezuka voices him in the Japanese anime, while the Funimation version spells his name Dhalis Zachary and casts John Swasey.
