Background
After Grisha Yeager killed his family and took the Founding Titan, Rod tried to bring Historia home so he could use her to restore order. He tells Eren how Grisha made him a Titan and urges Historia to eat Eren, but she refuses. He then turns into an enormous crawling Titan, 120 metres tall and constantly burning, that threatens the Orvud District until the Levi Squad and Eren cripple it and Historia lands the killing blow.
